Therapy for Young People & Families

How can I help you?

Hello, Olá, Hola – I’m Ana Mello

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. Whether you’re struggling with big emotions and behaviours, family changes, or feeling lost in the chaos, support is possible — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

With warmth, understanding, and over 15 years of experience, I help children, teens, and families navigate life’s challenges — creating a safe space to heal, reconnect, and grow.

Offering inclusive, culturally sensitive care in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family — or you’re a professional looking to collaborate, refer or seeking supervision — I’d love to connect.

Approach

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and evidence-based — but more than anything, it’s real and human. I create a safe, supportive space where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

Fees & Rebates

Individual Sessions:

I understand that accessing support is an important investment, so I aim to keep the process clear and flexible. Payment can be made at the conclusion of each session via cash, card, or bank transfer.

Reduced fees are available for clients with a Health Care Card or those enrolled as full-time students. NDIS and other funding arrangements can also be discussed to suit individual circumstances

To ensure I’m the right fit for your needs, I offer a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation — an opportunity to discuss your situation, answer any questions, and explore the best way forward.

If you’ve been referred by a GP or psychiatrist, Medicare rebates may be available through a Mental Health Care Plan. I’m happy to guide you through this process.

Other services and extended sessions:

I am happy to discuss other services and extended session options to best meet your needs. Your well-being is a priority, and I’m here to ensure accessibility and support on your journey.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family — or you’re a professional looking to collaborate, refer or seeking supervision — I’d love to connect
